The Banyan Tree Money Academy Story…
The Banyan Tree itself holds one of the best memories cherished by the founders Pragasam and Rajna. A drive through the country side of Bangalore, India in year 2007 brought them into a journey of discovering the wonders of Mother Nature, where they were amazed by a single 400 year old banyan tree spreads over an area of 4 acres. It was almost impossible for the founders with their 4 grown up boys to resist the sheer joy of swinging on the aerial roots of the Banyan Tree like children. It was then, they realized the significance of this tree and how it blends into their idea of this company. Thus Banyan Tree Money Academy was established in year 2007 then subsequently in the year 2012 BTMA was set up.
What does a name really signify? To us, our name, Banyan Tree Money Academy represents the values and the benchmark we have set towards the services we uphold. The significance of the support we offer can be flawlessly absorbed by the physical attributes of the Banyan Tree. The prominent feature of the banyan tree is the aerial roots that rustle and drape down from the tree branches, which subsequently penetrate into the ground to become a trunk by itself and forms a support mechanism for the branches to extend. This additional support mechanism that continues to grow in numbers, allows the branches of a single banyan tree to span for miles.
The stronghold of the roots, the spreading of the branches, the support system of the trunks, the story of historian Alexander the Great camping with an army of 7,000 soldiers under a banyan for shelter and most interestingly the beginning of the Share trading under the banyan tree in Mumbai, India, have all attributed to the naming of Banyan Tree Money Academy.
Later Banyan Tree Money Academy will have branches in every state in Malaysia instilling good money habits of saving, spending, investing, and donating by coaching the skills necessary to build a lifetime…
